Together with the artists Hanneke Moed, Peter van Beek, and our kids, we created hand painted banners for Graceland festival 2026 in the Netherlands – a small scale festival for Christian misfits. We chose an Art Nouveau style and craft work. Art nouveau, at the time, came in response to mass production. In our time, A.I. influences our culture and society, and we respond by crafting our work by hand. By being attentive to the materials we work with. And by working together in collaboration.

The Graceland festival is an oasis of creativity, human interaction and friendliness, and we are happy to contribute with this ambitious project. six banners plus the letters ‘Graceland’ hand painted with earth pigments. All animals and plants are typically found at Landgoed Velder, the forest estate hosting the festival.
